County Fall Event

Our County puts on a fall event every year for the kids and we have gone a few times now.
They kids have lots of fun playing games and getting candy.

They even had a petting zoo this year and they kids LOVED to hold the bunnies.

This riding spider is always a favorite.
It is hard to stay on, believe me...I actually hurt my finger from falling off:)

Thomas Cousin Visits!!!

Chris's brother, Tyler and his wife Katie, and their daughter Chloe came to visit us for a couple days.
Chloe is about 9 months younger than Michelle and boy did Michelle's eye turn green while Chloe was here.
She has never had to really fight for attention but she sure did while Chloe was here. It was pretty funny.

Bye Bye Mini-Mini Van, Hello Mini Van!!

It came that time that we finally saved up enough and found a van that we wanted and could afford.

We have had our Mazda 5 for a few years, I want to say 4-5 years?
It was really good for us and it was what we needed at the time. It was a great mini-mini van.
It worked well when we only had 2 kids, but once that 3rd kid came along it got a WHOLE lot smaller and we needed to get a new van. We needed to wait until after we got into our new house and then we had to save up again in order to buy one.
Chris wanted me to get like a 2015 or 2016, like BRAND new but those were SOOO expensive. I didn't want to wait that much longer to save up. I JUST wanted low miles, a GPS unit, and a DVD system.
I was able to find one through car max that had all of those things, a 2007 (so one year newer) than my "old" Mazda, but it had all the upgrades for that year, AND it was within the amount that we had saved.
We test drove it and then traded in our 2006 Mazda 5

For this 2007 Honda Odyssey

We love the automatic doors!!!

Luxury, luxury, don't you cry....
You will be a necessity, by and by.
