Well, Sunday at 35 weeks and 6 days, while sitting in Sacrament meeting I started having contractions. Chris was surprised at how many he was noticing I was having. There were others that he didn't notice I had but after Sacrament he insisted that go home and lay down. He had to do a lot of convincing since I would be missing Relief Society and I am suppose to take notes in RS. Anyways I came home and laid down on my left side and started guzzling water. After a half hour of laying down and drinking and contractions not stopping, Chris figured I should start writing down when my contractions were. After an hour of the contractions being 4-6 minutes apart and getting stronger I finally decided Chris was right and I needed to call the on-call dr and see what he said. Since I had done the laying down and drinking water thing, and nothing helped, they just kept getting stronger and stronger. The dr. told me to go to the hospital. We dropped kids off and went in. They were finally able to give me a shot that helped reduce my contractions, I wasn't dilating so finally at 11:30, I opted to go home.
Monday Chris kind of put me on bed rest for the day so I have had fewer contractions but still some nonetheless.
Today, Tuesday, I went and saw my dr. She said that we need to make it until next Monday, 37 weeks. By that time, if I were to have all those contractions again, they wouldn't try to stop it and just take the baby out. After my appointment, I tried to slowly run some errands but after walking around Target hunched over the cart, I decided I needed to listen to my body and just go home and rest. It will be so much harder on everybody if I end up in the hospital again because they would probably keep me there until Monday, or later and that wouldn't do anybody any good...besides the baby, so I am trying to slow things down and relax, at least until Monday. With each contraction though, I worry....

Baby Shower
I had an awesome baby shower.
I LOVED that it was at MY house. I let my friends in and then went upstairs to get ready while they set everything up. I came downstairs when it was time to start.
I felt so loved by those that came and all the many hands that help put it on.
It was awesome that I just got to chat while the others completely cleaned everything up, put all the left overs in MY fridge and I didn't have to load up the presents.
