These are great pictures by any means...but it is a picture of our new whole family.

The kids ADORE their baby sister....ESPECIALLY MATTHEW!!! 

I would not have guessed that it would be Matthew. He always wants to hold her. Doesn't usually get to hold her long enough in his book and is very sweet with her.

Allison on the other hand I think likes to look at her more than hold her.

She holds her for about a minute and then says her arms are so tired.

While my mom was here, my brother Chad decided that he needed to get a little break away from everything and head down to the Temple. His temple is the Washington DC temple which is ours also. He drove the two hours south to the Temple, did a session and then drove the two hours further south to come visit us and see the new baby.

It made me feel really special to have him come visit. I loved having my mom and brother there and we had lots of fun watching March Madness together.

Chad, father of 8, acted as though he had never held a baby before. It was funny watching him. His youngest is 4 and oldest 17 1/2 yrs old.

She was just so little. 

All of these clothes are either newborn or preemie clothes. 

She was tiny.

She is just SOOOO sweet. 

I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!

South Korea Trees

The grounds of the Academy of Korean studies.  In Texas and Virginia there's lots of fauna, but it's all green.  In Korea, there's white, pink, and red mixed in with the green.  The campus had hiking trails criss-crossing it.  Coupled with the curved roof buildings, the whole landscape was a culture-shock all by itself.

A printing museum.  Apparently the Koreans were publishing using movable type almost 300 years before Gutenberg.

Visited a Buddhist temple way up in the mountains.  Got there just in time for the bell and drum ceremony.

One of the royal tombs.  Why dig a hole when you can just pile the dirt?  The entire region was dotted with funeral mounds like this one.

I guess you'd call this a negative building.  The actual structure is built the in the negative space of the building.  The "building" in the center is open space.

Awesome Since Day One

The lighting is so good with these pictures I just love them.

For the first week or two Allison actually counted how many times she got to hold Michelle. 

It still isn't enough times. She just loves her. She also likes reading her stories.
