Our New Throne

I decided that our toilet was moving around way too much and we needed to replace it. So today was our lucky day. We went to Lowe's and started our project at 12:30pm. After realizing that we had to drill 4 holes through concrete it wasn't such an easy job as all the websites and videos made it out to be. We made three trips to Lowe's and finally got it in and usable at 9:30pm.
How many of you have ever had a project that was only suppose to take a couple hours and ended up taking all day?

My Handsome Sweetheart

I have been posting a lot of pictures of Allison but that is because as babies they grow and change a lot. However, I did take these cute pictures of Matthew about a month ago and realized I never posted this handsome dude's pictures.

Last night at the dinner table, Matthew was telling me how my real name was Steph or Stephanie. He gets that from all his friends calling me Teacher Steph or Teacher Stephanie. He then proceeded to ask daddy what his real name was. When the answer came out as Chris, Matthew looked really surprised. Then Chris asked Matthew what his real name was and Matthew answered, "Sweetheart". I guess I call him that a lot. It was quite cute.

Outside Fun

We have been enjoying the spring weather here. Matthew loves riding his tricycle and Allison I am sure enjoyed some fresh air.

Having Fun

Chris is not going to be very amused when he realizes that I put this picture on the blog. One day Matthew asked me to be his dog and so I did. Chris couldn't believe I was acting like a dog. I don't know how he managed to do it but Matthew actually talked his daddy into to being his dog. I don't think it will ever happen again so I had to take a picture of it. This is after Matthew walked his dog and wanted him to pose for the picture. Here he is telling his dog to sit.

After preschool one day, these kids had so much fun pretending like behind this chair was their house. Then they would try to all fit in the chair. I thought it was a great photo op. Though I positioned them this way, it still is very cute.

Just Chill'n

Matthew got up on Chris' lap and pulled the footrest out and laid back and then said "Daddy, we're just chill'n" it was too cute.

This is Matthew's first photo that he has ever taken. It turned out well, despite the people that are in the picture.

So Excited!!!

Chris' younger brother got engaged on Sunday, March 8, 2009. We are SO excited for him and his fiance seems so nice and fun. I am SUPER excited to have her as a sister-in-law. Though we haven't actually been able to meet her, I have gotten to talk to her on the phone and read her blog! I love that Ty is so happy. That is the best part. The wedding is scheduled for May 23 in the Mesa, AZ Temple and we are anxious to drive to AZ for the wedding. I can't wait to finally meet Katie. It makes me so sad that we don't live closer to Ty and Katie so we could do couple stuff with them but maybe some day. Since Katie hasn't been able to meet the kids, I decided to do a little video for her. This is for you Katie!! Congratulations!!
