These have probably already been posted but I don't want to take the time to check so here they are again if they were previously posted.

Can you tell that I can't get enough of this sweet little baby?
I just love her so much. I love getting to hold her and love being her mommy.
I am amazed that other than 6oz of formula, I have been able to sustain her life. That is so weird and new to me. I was really determined to nurse this baby because formula is SOOO expensive. No wonder people call breast milk liquid gold. Matthew never latched on, probably because of his traumatic entry into this world, but I did pump for 2 months until the milk just looked like cloudy water and he was hungry all the time. With Allison it hurt so bad that I wouldn't want to feed her because it was too painful. I only nursed her for a week. This one I was prepping myself mentally and physically to nurse. When I started pumping and was getting less then two ounces, I was really worried that I wouldn't produce enough to feed her. I had Chris give me a blessing and I also started taking Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle (which didn't work with Matthew) to hopefully produce more and have it work this time. After about 3 days of taking these herbs I did start to produce more which I was SOOO thankful for. Like I said, I have only had to supplement Michelle with 6oz of formula and the rest has all been me. That is pretty amazing. I have also been able to produce more than has been needed and been able to put some in the freezer which is also cool.

Tetanus Shot (May 29, 2015)

This is more for my records than anything really.
We had to power wash the deck and then we used this really thick paint stuff called Deck Over. It is suppose to prevent molding and stuff like that. Since our mailbox had mold on it as well, I power washed it and then remembered after we were all done with the deck (YAY) that I was going to do the mailbox post. I pulled the numbers off of our mailbox and painted it with Deck Over. As I was nailing the numbers back up I kneeled up and sure enough, kneeled on a nail. I was so frustrated because it was a dumb thing to do. The good thing about this project is that the numbers used to be black and you couldn't see them all that well. I started putting them back on and now the post was brown. One of the numbers had some black off of it and silver was showing more. It made me think to spray paint the numbers white since we just got some white spray paint for another project. I did it and put the numbers up. They look SOO good and I love it. I love the contrast of the white on the brown.
I keep thinking we should take pictures before and after but I didn't think about it with the deck, or the mailbox until the after. I haven't had a tetanus shot for at least 11 years so I had to go get one. I didn't know you could get them at the Kroger, Walgreens, Rite-Aid clinics. A friend suggested somebody to go see at Rite-Aid so that next day, Friday, May 29, 2015, I went and got a Tetanus shot from Rite-Aid, and surprisingly it didn't cost me anything.

We got the deck done, plus I pulled out the nasty caulk in our shower and again I thought I should take a picture before but figured it wouldn't be a big difference. I sure should have. I put new caulk and got the grout white again. It looks SOOO much better.

Another thing done!!! There is still a ton to do before our house can go up but my big projects are getting done.

Trying to Survive

Sorry to those of you that actually read my blog and haven't had anything to read in awhile. (Tammy) I would love to post more but I am just trying to survive. We are trying to get our house ready to put on the market so we have a ton of projects. I am just trying to keep up with the basic necessities right now. I need a house keeper or something, holy cow.  One reason why I don't have as much time is because I am nursing still....which is a good thing, but it takes about 6 hours of my day away from me not to mention a few hours at night as well. Michelle only slept through the night that one night and then the next day she got her 2 month shots...so I knew that wouldn't happen again for a little while at least and unfortunately I was right:(    It hasn't happened since then.
I am waiting for my potatoes to boil for my potato salad and instead of cleaning the kitchen like I should be, I opted to write a quick post.
So, kids are almost out of school, three weeks left...I thought it was sooner than that. The kids are adoring Michelle and always wanting to hold her.
Matthew can't hold Michelle enough and he just loves her. Allison has had a struggle trying to figure out where she fits in. I thought she would be with me a lot helping with Michelle but she isn't. Matthew has Chris to play and do things with, I am always with Michelle, and where does that leave Allison? She started lying more, being disobedient a lot and just not being a nice girl. We finally realized that she was feeling left out. We have started consciously spending more time with her and Chris even went to her school and ate lunch with just her, not Matthew and things have gotten better. I put on a Pokemon party for Matthew so lots of attention was on Matthew for his party and on Michelle. Thankfully things have gotten better and I think she is doing well now.
I have so much on my plate it is hard to find the time to do it all...which I am not doing well at all. My house is a total wreck, I haven't lost any of my baby weight and I kind of feel like a failure because I can't do it all. I NEED to blog, not only for you that read it (Tammy) but so that I can remember what happened in my pictures when I actually go to scrapbook them in my albums but unfortunately I have other priorities.
So I am still alive, barely and will try to post when I can.

Slept Through the Night!!!

My little baby had her last feeding at 10pm. I put her down and usually she has been waking up around 3:30am to eat and then again around 5ish, sometimes.
Last night she didn't wake up until 5:30am. That means that at 9.5 weeks old, she went 7.5 hours in between feedings and slept for 7 of those hours!!!!
Too many more of those types of nights and I might feel like a new woman and can start to get things done:)

CUTE Michelle

There are days, I just hold her and am so thankful she is here and that I get to snuggle her every day, that I just cry, I am so overwhelmed with joy.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this sweet baby.

This is almost like a smile.

Smile? or working something out?
